Improve your app with the chat

How to ask the AI for changes to get better results and spend less balance, and how to undo a change.

The editor chat is the main way to improve your app. Write what you want to add or change and the AI modifies the code.

Tips for asking for changes

  • One change at a time. Asking for many changes at once gives worse results than going step by step.
  • Be precise. Say what you want to change and where. For example: “On the profile screen, make the log out button red and put it below the photo”.
  • Iterate. If the result is not exactly what you wanted, explain what needs adjusting.
  • Attach files when they help: drag them into the chat (images, logos, reference documents).

Each message can be up to 2000 characters. Press Enter to send and Shift+Enter to add a new line. If you want to stop a response in progress, click the stop button.

Sometimes the AI will ask you questions or offer ready-made blocks for a feature, and ask you to choose the variant you prefer.

The more detailed your message, the better the results you get and the less balance you spend in the long run.

See and undo changes

Each response shows how many files the AI modified. If you do not like a change, click “Undo this change” on that response.

There is no version history to go back to a specific point: the way to revert is to undo changes from the chat responses.

What uses balance

Each chat prompt uses tokens from your balance. The cost depends on the AI model you choose and the complexity of the task. See the article “How balance and tokens work”.
