Creating and publishing apps
How do I test my app on my phone?+
On Android, build a staging APK from the editor preview and download it or scan the QR code from your phone. On iOS, build a staging IPA and install it with Xcode. If it is a web app, use the editor preview or “Live demo”.
How do I publish my app on Google Play or the App Store?+
With a paid plan, click “Publish” in the editor, generate the AAB (Android) or the IPA (iOS), download it and upload it to Google Play Console or App Store Connect with your own developer account. Mobincube AI does not upload the app to the stores for you.
Can I have my app on Android and on the web at the same time?+
Yes. A project can have several apps that share the database and users. Add them with “New app within the project” or with “Replicate app for another platform”, in the app selector of the project navigation bar.
Can I download my app's code?+
Yes, from the project menu > “Download source code”. It is included in the Silver and Gold plans; on the others it costs $25 from your balance. The generated code is yours and you can use it, modify it and distribute it.
Can I use my own database?+
Yes. In the project map, click the database, click “Use my own” and connect your own Supabase or another service.
Can I use my own domain?+
Yes. Under your avatar > “My domains” you can buy a domain or connect one you already own. Then you assign it to your published web app from the project settings, “Publications” tab.
The data I created in the preview has disappeared+
The database, users and files of the preview are temporary and can be deleted at any time. For now the same applies to the database of published web apps; the persistent production database is coming soon.
Which AI model should I choose?+
Auto is the recommended option: it uses Haiku for simple tasks and Sonnet for complex ones. Opus is the most powerful and requires an active subscription.
Can I undo a change made by the AI?+
Yes. Every chat response that modifies files has the “Undo this change” button.
Balance and payments
Is it free?+
You can start for free with $5 of welcome credit, unlimited apps and unlimited debug builds. When the credit runs out, to keep using the AI you need to buy tokens or subscribe. To publish to the stores or publish a web app you need a paid plan, from $20/month.
How many tokens do I need for my app?+
It is not possible to know in advance: it depends on the complexity of the app, the changes you ask for and the errors that come up. To spend less, write detailed prompts, ask for changes one at a time and use the Auto model.
Why was my balance charged without me writing anything?+
Automatic fixes for build errors (“Fix with AI”) and the creation of new apps also use tokens. You can see the detail of each consumption under Billing > “My consumptions”.
Do credits expire?+
No, purchased credits do not expire.
Can I cancel my subscription whenever I want?+
Yes, under Billing > “My Subscription” > “Cancel subscription”. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew.
How do I get an invoice?+
Complete your billing address under Billing > “Billing Info”. Invoices appear under Billing > “Invoices” and can be downloaded as PDF. When you buy tokens you can also check “I need an invoice”.
Account
I had a Mobincube account and I can't sign in+
Mobincube classic and Mobincube AI are different products with separate accounts. For Mobincube AI you need to create a new account. Your old account still works on Mobincube classic. If you have questions about Mobincube classic, open a support conversation with the category “Mobincube classic”.
I signed up but I can't get into the platform+
If you see “You're on the waitlist!”, your account is pending approval. We will email you when you have access.
Can I change my account email?+
No, the account email cannot be changed.
Where are my old apps?+
If you have a Mobincube account created before April 2026, your account is on Mobincube classic, which is a different product from the current Mobincube and works with independent accounts. But don't worry: your old account is still active. If you go to mobincube.com, you will see a “Mobincube classic” button in the top right corner. That button takes you to the classic sign-in page: https://app.mobincube.com/login/v1
