When a build fails
What to do if you see “Build failed”, “Source code errors detected” or “Pre-build checks failed”.
“Build failed” or “Source code errors detected”
The build failed because of errors in the code.
- Click “Fix with AI”. The AI analyzes the error, fixes the code and builds again.
- There is a maximum number of attempts, which you will see as “Fix attempt X of Y”.
- With “Skip” you discard the fix.
Each fix uses tokens from your balance.
“Pre-build checks failed”
Some checks are run before building. If they fail, this notice appears, also with the “Fix with AI” option.
If it keeps failing
If the build still fails after the attempts:
- Describe the problem in the editor chat in as much detail as you can.
- Or contact support by choosing the category “My app is not building”.
